fully automatic conveying system"the project has achieved a high degree of automation in the entire process of medical waste disposal, reaching a domestic first and internationally leading level." yang hongfen, deputy director of beijing environmental protection technology and person in charge of the anding medical waste treatment project, introduced that taking into account the unique infectiousness and biological toxicity of medical waste, the project has been carefully planned from the beginning of its design, and all operations such as unloading, transportation, dumping, cooking, crushing, and cleaning are carried out without human participation.
when a transport truck loaded with medical waste enters the factory, as soon as the door of the truck is opened, the robotic arm responsible for unloading the truck will start quickly, take a picture of the turnover box through its own visual recognition system, and automatically grab it. the turnover box is then placed on the conveyor line.
"the automatic unloading process may seem simple, but it actually involves a lot of high technology." yang hongfen said that the unloading process must not only consider the unloading speed, but also the stability and safety of the unloading process, and must not cause the spillage of medical waste. therefore, the system development process needs to overcome many technical difficulties in software and hardware.there are more manifestations of high technology, such as the automatic unlocking and opening of turnover boxes, and the intelligent storage system that realizes the first-in-first-out of medical waste.
as the turnover boxes move along the conveyor line, the medical waste is poured into the sterilization cart one by one.every 6 sterilization carts form a group and automatically enter the high-temperature steam treatment system for continuous sterilization treatment under 134 degrees celsius and 220 kpa conditions.at the same time, the turnover boxes are automatically transported to the cleaning and disinfection workshop for cleaning and disinfection.
