in june this year, relying on the "silk road e-commerce workshop" south african youth cross-border e-commerce training program, these 21 south african national scholarship students came to wuhan university of technology to receive a one-year cross-border e-commerce skills training. this is also the first time that a full-time higher vocational college in central china has undertaken a training project from the south african ministry of higher education.

the schedule for this year is very tight. it is reported that during the year, the international students will learn three modules, including e-commerce technical skills, industrial chain practice and cultural exchange. three months of them will be spent on campus and nine months will be spent on internships in local companies. the school and companies will adopt a work-study alternation model to train them into cross-border e-commerce talents who can promote hubei products to the world.

"whether in school or in the company, everyone is very diligent and teaches us step by step." wen xinjie, an international student, said that his classmates are now doing in-depth internships in five cross-border e-commerce companies and gaining new knowledge every day. "it's my first time to celebrate mid-autumn festival, and it was very happy and meaningful."
