in addition, the site also carefully set up traditional games and handicraft experience areas, such as pitching pots, hooping, sugar painting, making lanterns, making lacquer fans, spinning tops, and diabolo. on the eve of the mid-autumn festival, tianxiang community invited the community's elderly care team and seniors over 75 years old to make handmade mooncakes together. after the community's specially invited cultural lecturer explained the long history and stories of the mid-autumn festival, the event entered the most anticipated snow skin mooncake making session. residents put on gloves and transformed themselves into "moon cake craftsmen", following the teacher's explanation to learn how to mix snow skin powder according to proportion, wrap the fillings, use molds to shape and other skills.
