since november 2021, the fenglin oasis community of olympic village street has fully played the leading role of party building, used volunteer services as a carrier to promote innovation in community governance, and carried out volunteer service activities around the difficulties and concerns of residents. the volunteer team has grown from more than 100 to more than 700 people, with about 15 projects approved each year, and a total service time of more than 10,000 hours. in the past year, the "fenglin home" volunteers of fenglin oasis community actively participated in various volunteer services such as community environmental improvement, security patrols, helping the elderly and the disabled, youth training, and community civilization promotion, building an all-age friendly volunteer service community.
kang xiaomin, secretary of the fenglin oasis community party committee, said that volunteer service is an important part of community governance and an important force in promoting social civilization and progress. in the next step, volunteers will continue to carry forward the spirit of volunteer service, actively participate in community volunteer service activities, and provide more and better services to community residents.
