it is reported that as of september 9, the current round of subsidy policy funds of 250 million yuan have been fully applied for. the reporter learned from the municipal commerce commission that in order to better adapt to the current situation of the automobile consumer market and further stimulate the vitality of the automobile consumer market, it has decided to increase the scale of subsidy policy funds by another 250 million yuan, and continue to promote the implementation of the 2024 automobile replacement and renewal subsidy policy. the subsidy funds will be used up or the policy expires. the subsidy application time, object conditions, subsidy standards, subsidy methods, subsidy application channels, application materials requirements, subsidy application procedures, supporting support policies, and related work requirements remain unchanged.
it is understood that the city has recently formulated and issued the "chongqing city's implementation plan for promoting the replacement of old consumer goods for new consumer goods" (hereinafter referred to as the "plan") and a series of supporting documents, optimizing and upgrading three policies, including automobile scrapping and renewal, automobile replacement and renewal, and home improvement consumer loan interest subsidies. two new subsidy policies have been formulated and issued, including the replacement of old green smart home appliances and the replacement of old electric bicycles.
among them, in terms of the implementation of automobile replacement and renewal subsidies, individual consumers nationwide sell and transfer old passenger cars (including new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles) registered in their own names on or before may 20, 2024, and purchase new energy passenger cars from automobile sales companies within the jurisdiction of chongqing between may 21, 2024 and december 31, 2024. the original tiered subsidy policy (3,000 yuan for 200,000 yuan and above, 2,000 yuan for less than 200,000 yuan) will be adjusted to a subsidy of 6% of the invoice amount of the new car bare car price, with a minimum of no less than 3,000 yuan and a maximum of no more than 12,000 yuan.
at the same time, the plan will include fuel vehicles purchased after selling old cars in the subsidy scope. for new fuel passenger cars purchased between august 20, 2024 and december 31, 2024, subsidies will be given at a rate of 5% of the invoice price of the new bare car, with a minimum of no less than 2,000 yuan and a maximum of no more than 10,000 yuan. eligible subsidy recipients should follow the "chongqing commerce commission" wechat public account (click the "government-citizen interaction" column and select the "car subsidy application" menu), "love chongqing" wechat public account (click the "series of activities" column and select the "car subsidy application" menu) or scan the "chongqing automobile replacement subsidy application system qr code" to enter the "automobile consumption subsidy policy online application system" of our city before 24:00 on january 10, 2025, and submit the required materials for the application clearly, completely and accurately.
