at the opening ceremony of the education service theme of the china international fair for trade in services held on the 13th, malaysia's university of malaya and beijing electronic science and technology vocational college signed a strategic cooperation agreement covering academic exchanges and mutual recognition of teacher qualifications and student credits.
in the education service exhibition area of this ciie, universities and educational institutions from asean countries such as malaysia, vietnam, cambodia, thailand and indonesia discussed cooperation with china in areas such as convenience of studying abroad and research and study exchanges.
zheng zhiyu, vice president of the international college of the university of commerce, thailand, believes that participating in the ciftis is of great significance for the university to deepen exchanges with chinese universities. "this is our first time at the ciftis, and we hope to contact more chinese universities and explore potential opportunities for cooperative education."
lian zhen studied for his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at nankai university, and after graduation, he went to thailand university for further studies. he represented thailand university in participating in the ciftis in beijing to promote study abroad programs. he said that in setting up courses for chinese students, thai universities closely combine the mutually beneficial cooperation between china and thailand with the actual situation of thailand's economic development, laying a good foundation for students who are interested in continuing their studies and working in related fields.
at this year's services trade fair, thailand's university of business and technology will discuss cooperation in "2+2" cooperative education and academic exchanges with universities such as beijing institute of technology and communication university of china.
