during the morning rush hour, traffic will be slow on some sections of the urban ring road, caihuying south road, tonghuihe north road, xizhimen north street, deshengmenwai street, yuanmingyuan west road to wanquanhe road, fushi road, lianshi east road, xueyuan road and other roads, and some highways such as beijing-tibet and beijing-chengde heading into beijing. the peak period is from 7:00 to 9:00, and the morning rush hour on mondays is more prominent on the restricted license plates ending in 4 and 9.

from 0:00 on september 7 to 24:00 on september 16, tianchen west road in chaoyang district is prohibited from passing from the intersection of datun road and tianchen west road (excluding) to the intersection of national stadium north road and tianchen west road (excluding) in both north-south directions, and tianchen east road is prohibited from passing from the intersection of datun road and tianchen east road (excluding) to the intersection of national stadium north road and tianchen east road (excluding) in the north-south direction. except for vehicles and personnel holding special certificates for the 2024 china international fair for trade in services, other vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing. passing vehicles and pedestrians can detour via beichen west road, national stadium north road, datun road, and beichen east road.
from 0:00 on september 12 to 24:00 on september 16, from the intersection of national stadium north road and tianchen east road (excluding) to the intersection of datun road and tianchen east road (excluding) in chaoyang district, no vehicles or pedestrians are allowed to pass from south to north, except for vehicles and personnel holding special certificates for the 2024 china international fair for trade in services. passing vehicles and pedestrians can detour via beichen west road, national stadium north road, datun road, and beichen east road.
miaocheng street in huairou district will be closed to traffic during the renovation and construction periodto ensure road traffic safety and smooth flow during the reconstruction of miaocheng street (fumi road-huaichang road) and the construction of the river (line) bridge supporting the slum reconstruction in block 14 of huairou new city, the traffic management department has decided that from september 7, 2024 to september 6, 2025, motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians will be prohibited from traveling in both directions on miaocheng street in huairou district (from the intersection of miaocheng street and fumi road to the intersection of the east side road of the railway and miaocheng street). passing vehicles and pedestrians can detour via surrounding roads such as huaichang road, fumi road and miaocheng middle street.
