the reporter learned from dalian heavy industry equipment group that the technical achievement meeting of the first domestically produced 350,000 tons/year polypropylene extrusion granulation unit project was held in zhanjiang, guangdong, and successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of the sinopec appraisal committee. the group's subsidiary rubber and plastic company, as the localization contractor of the unit, reported to the appraisal committee on the project work report, technical report, operation report, etc., and answered relevant questions. the experts of the appraisal committee fully demonstrated and unanimously agreed that the project system is complex, technically difficult, and innovative. the results have been industrialized and promoted, and have achieved significant economic and social benefits. the project as a whole has reached the international advanced level, among which intelligent control, specific energy consumption and underwater pelletizing technology have reached the international leading level, marking that the localization of major petrochemical technical equipment in my country has taken another step forward.
the domestically produced 350,000 tons/year polypropylene extrusion granulation unit is a core key dynamic equipment of the olefin industry with integrated electromechanical and instrumentation. the unit is developed based on the zhongke refining and chemical integration project of zhongke (guangdong) refining and chemical co., ltd. it is a key petrochemical research project in my country's "13th five-year plan" and one of sinopec's "ten dragons" scientific and technological research projects. the unit was put into operation in june 2020. so far, it has produced 9 materials with different melt indexes. the overall operation of the unit is stable, achieving the goal of localization research. the successful localization of the unit is of great significance to breaking the monopoly of foreign technology, promoting the supply-side structural reform of my country's petrochemical industry, industrial transformation and upgrading, and enhancing the international competitiveness of petrochemical equipment.
it is understood that the rubber and plastic company has developed 11 innovative technologies during the development of the unit, successfully breaking through the three major technical difficulties of "uniformity control of large-flow resin mixing and plasticization", "high-efficiency and high-quality granulation of large-flow melt", and "long-term continuous and stable operation of large units", and realized the independent manufacturing of "heavy equipment of a great country" in the petrochemical field. since the first unit was put on the market, 10 units of this specification have been sold, which are well received by domestic and foreign customers.
