in the golden autumn season, more than 30 kinds of pears in lihua village, panggezhuang town, daxing district have entered the picking period again. the pear trees are full of fruits, which are quite tempting. lihua village has planted more than 8,000 acres of pear trees, of which more than 20,000 are over 100 years old. this year, there is a lot of rain and the climate is suitable, so the pear trees have a high yield. at the same time, daxing often organizes experts to go to the orchard for technical training. lou meizhen, director of the guolin research institute of daxing district, said that daxing district is not only famous for its "golden handle yellow" duck pears, but also for the quality of beijing white pears. from pruning to flowering management, water and fertilizer control, and pest and disease control, there are experts to guide the whole process. it is reported that the pear picking period in the orchard will last until the "national day".
the reporter learned from the daxing district garden and greening bureau that daxing district ensures the quality and safety of characteristic forest products during the harvest season, promotes 10 edible forest product production entities to obtain organic agricultural product certification, completes the collection of certification bases, and guides the green and safe production of fruits; completes 527 batches of edible forest product quality and safety testing tasks such as mulberries, peaches, and grapes at the municipal and district levels, and urges forestry and fruit planting producers to actively use certificates of conformity; carries out orchard soil testing, completes the layout and soil sampling of 40 key points, checks the quality of soil properties, pesticide residues, organic matter content, etc., and promotes the sustainable development of the industry.
