shanghai, september 6 (xie mengyuan) on september 6, the delivery ceremony of the multifunctional saturation diving support vessel "wadad aletheia" developed by shanghai zhenhua heavy industries was held at the changxing branch of shanghai zhenhua heavy industries. the diving support vessel is the first diving support vessel in china equipped with an embedded 24-person dual-bell fully automatic saturation diving system, with a maximum diving operating depth of 300 meters.
the multifunctional saturation diving support vessel "wadad aletheia" is one of the most advanced diving vessels in the world. it is classified by the norwegian classification society. it is 145.9 meters long, 27 meters wide, 11.33 meters deep, with a crew of 200 people. it is equipped with a 400-ton wave compensation telescopic crane, which can meet the diving operations and deep-sea (3,000 meters) lifting requirements in the installation, dismantling, maintenance and inspection of offshore oil facilities. it can also be used for laying, inspection and maintenance of submarine pipelines and cables, wax removal of submarine pipelines, management of suspended span sections of submarine pipelines, installation of risers, installation of expansion bends, installation of cable protection pipes, etc. from investigation, exploration to mining operations, the deep-depth saturation diving function and 3,000-meter sea lifting function of the vessel will have a broad application market.

the ship is equipped with the most advanced 24-person fully automated dual-bell saturation diving system. the complete system integrates living cabins, transition cabins, escape cabins, diving bells, and life support systems. a single diving bell carries three divers, and two diving bells are equipped for diving operations, which greatly improves the operating efficiency. at the same time, its safety and comfort are currently the highest level in the world. the ship is equipped with two offshore folding arm cranes with "wave compensation" function. the main crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 400 tons and can work at a water depth of 3,000 meters. the auxiliary crane can lift 25 tons and work at a water depth of 600 meters.
