in response to a reporter's question about how he views international cooperation with africa, wang yi said that the china-africa cooperation forum has developed to date and has become a beacon leading international cooperation with africa. now, other countries are also willing to turn their attention to africa, support and help africa, and china is happy about this. regarding international cooperation with africa, wang yi put forward three proposals, hoping to reach a consensus among all parties.

first, we must uphold fairness.modernization is not a privilege for a few countries. african countries also have the right to develop. considering the colonial plunder africa once suffered, developed countries should take responsibility, strengthen north-south cooperation, and increase investment in african development. at the same time, we will continue to attach importance to south-south cooperation and form international synergy.

third, we should advocate pragmatism.we must be true to our words and resolute in our actions. we must do what we say and not just talk big. we must bring visible and tangible results to the african people through practical cooperation.
