on september 2, the reporter learned from the mingyue lake science and technology innovation base of liangjiang collaborative innovation zone that the robot dog sparky developed by hengzhi future (chongqing) innovation technology co., ltd. was officially unveiled at the 2024 world robot conference which closed not long ago. it is also the first small intelligent quadruped robot product in china to achieve high integration, weighing only 850 grams, and can be held by an adult in one hand.

"come, shake hands." at the exhibition, following the staff's command, the small robot dog stretched out one of its front paws for people to hold, simulating the scene of a pet dog shaking hands with a person, which was very cute.
however, this is just one of sparky's "eighteen martial arts". according to the relevant person in charge of hengzhi future, this robot dog integrates a high-computing ai chip and high-dynamic motion control effects, with 14 degrees of freedom throughout the body. it can not only simulate the movements of a dog, but also swim breaststroke, jump, and dance.
the person in charge said that sparky uses a self-developed core control module and innovative form design, which greatly improves the robot's flexibility and workspace, and also enables the robot to perform more actions and achieve fast and precise movements. in terms of software, sparky supports control in multiple programming languages such as phython.
it is reported that hengzhi future is currently working closely with university laboratories and domestic and foreign developer communities to jointly develop a university development manual around sparky. at the same time, it is actively exploring opportunities for cooperation with the game and animation ip industries. sparky is expected to be officially launched at the end of 2024. by then, more people will experience the abilities of the "chongqing-made" robot dog.
