since 2023, peking union medical college has jointly established the undergraduate and doctoral "union medical class" with four universities including beijing university of aeronautics and astronautics to explore the cultivation of compound medical talents.

the north campus of the chinese academy of medical sciences and peking union medical college was officially put into use on august 30. the newly built north campus is located in the malianwa area of haidian district. it includes three key research institutes: the institute of basic medicine, the institute of medicinal plants, and the institute of medical information, as well as the national key laboratory for research on common mechanisms of major diseases and the national key laboratory of respiratory and comorbidities.
