recently, huawei sports & health held a press conference in songshan lake, dongguan, and officially launched its core technology brand "trusense system".
it is reported that huawei has 11 years of experience in the field of smart wearables, with cumulative product shipments exceeding 150 million and more than 520 million registered users of its sports and health app. according to idc data, huawei's wrist wearable device shipments ranked first in the world in the first quarter of 2024.
"the xuanji sensing system is a major breakthrough for huawei in the field of sports and health monitoring and will continue to lead the direction of technological development. we are committed to helping users establish a positive and scientific lifestyle through technology." zhang wei, president of huawei terminal bg smart wear and sports health product line, said at the press conference.
as global health awareness increases, huawei has integrated single-point monitoring technology into a multi-dimensional perception system, officially named huawei trusense system. the system brings a new health management experience with its six major features: accuracy, comprehensiveness, speed, flexibility, openness, and extension.
it was also revealed at the press conference that huawei will release a new wearable device equipped with the xuanji sensing system in september.
it is reported that huawei's continuous investment in basic research in optics, electricity, materials, etc. has enabled the xuanji sensing system to achieve higher accuracy and speed in vital sign data monitoring. it overcomes the impact of factors such as skin color, wrist thickness, and weather changes on data monitoring, and has obtained industry authoritative certification for monitoring indicators such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure.
in addition, the xuanji sensing system has expanded its detection range to cover more than 60 detection indicators and supports the monitoring of multiple health systems. through heart rate data and autonomic nervous system sequence decomposition algorithms, the system can assess the user's emotional state and stress level to help users achieve physical and mental health.
with the support of flexibility, openness, and extensibility, huawei has cooperated with more than 150 institutions to promote innovative research in telemedicine and home health management.
the xuanji sensing system is backed by strong scientific research and development support. in the past few years, huawei has built several sports and health science laboratories in xi'an, shaanxi, dongguan, guangdong, and helsinki, finland.
among them, the huawei sports health science laboratory located in songshan lake, dongguan covers a professional research area, an ecological joint development area, and a sports health scenario incubation area, covering more than 80 professional testing capabilities, providing support for the research, incubation and testing of smart wearable hardware products, platform-level technologies, and digital health services. the laboratory was jointly built by the songshan lake management committee, huawei, the national sports research institute, and vanke in 2020. it is currently the largest and most comprehensive professional laboratory in the field of sports health in china.
in recent years, songshan lake has focused on "digital + sports" to promote all-round industry changes, introduced favorable policies based on the actual situation of the development of the sports industry, and strongly supported the digital transformation and development of the sports industry.
