this illegal construction is located in haipeng golf course, east of shucun country park, at the east entrance of shucun, nongda south road, haidian district. it was built around 2004 and covers a total area of 3,350 square meters, including the main structure and surrounding ancillary buildings. the illegal building is a brick-concrete and color steel structure with more than 20 rooms, mainly used for operating golf sports and related clothing, equipment, supporting restaurants, beauty salons, etc.
"look here! this is the room of the hot pot restaurant that was previously operated on this golf course. you can see that the wooden material on the ceiling of the house is very flammable. privately installed distribution boxes can be seen everywhere in the room. there is a great fire hazard. once a fire starts, the surrounding rooms will also be burned down." law enforcement officers said that the phenomenon of privately pulling wires and connecting water pipes in these illegal buildings is very serious, and there are great safety hazards.
in july 2022, shangdi subdistrict received a report from the public that there was illegal construction in the courtyard of the stadium. shangdi subdistrict immediately filed a case and launched an investigation. at the end of july of the same year, it obtained a letter of assistance from the district planning department, confirming that the building did not obtain a building planning permit and was an illegal construction. subsequently, the subdistrict office issued a "decision on demolition within a time limit". the stadium did not take the initiative to demolish the illegal construction within the specified time and continued to operate. in june 2023, shangdi subdistrict organized the haidian district urban management law enforcement bureau, the haidian branch of the municipal planning and natural resources commission and relevant units to hold a work promotion meeting and set up a special team for clearance and demolition.
the reporter learned that since the illegal construction involved rural collective land, the coordination of departments during the demolition process was relatively complex. in addition, the parties involved in the illegal construction did not cooperate at first and filed lawsuits in court many times, making demolition extremely difficult. in response to this problem, multiple departments in haidian district coordinated to promote the demolition of illegal buildings. after multiple rounds of communication with law enforcement personnel, the parties involved in the illegal construction finally cooperated with the demolition.
after the illegal buildings are demolished, a park will be built on the land to provide a better environment for citizens.
