luwang news on august 30 from late september to mid-october, the 2024 china shandong postdoctoral (postgraduate) innovation and entrepreneurship competition will officially start in jinan. the competition will set up a special entrepreneurship competition category. before september 20, postdoctoral (postdoctoral) talents and teams can choose different fields to participate in the competition according to the project research direction.
the competition is hosted by the shandong provincial department of human resources and social security, jinan municipal people's government, qingdao municipal people's government, yantai municipal people's government, and weihai municipal people's government. it aims to accelerate the attraction and gathering of young doctoral (post-doctoral) talents, promote the implementation and transformation of their innovative achievements in shandong, and inject innovative impetus into regional economic development. the entrepreneurship competition is hosted by the jinan municipal human resources and social security bureau, jinan tianqiao district committee, and district people's government. there are 6 tracks including new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, biomedicine and health, modern agriculture and food, and marine development and application.
5 conditions to participate in the entrepreneurship competition
doctoral (postdoctoral) talents and teams participating in the entrepreneurship competition should meet five conditions: first, at least one of the technical r&d person in charge of the participating project or the core member of the project r&d team is a doctor or a postdoctoral researcher in or out of the station in china. second, the registered projects should comply with national laws, regulations and industrial policies, and have products, technologies or business service models with good innovative applications. third, the registered participants or teams intend to register as start-up enterprises in shandong province with the participating projects as core technologies, or have been registered as enterprises in shandong province and the registration time is no earlier than july 1, 2023. fourth, the registered participants or teams have legal and independent intellectual property rights or use rights for the participating projects, and have no intellectual property disputes. fifth, if it has been registered as an enterprise, the enterprise should operate in a standardized manner and have a good social reputation. projects and team leaders who have won gold, silver and bronze medals in the national postdoctoral innovation and entrepreneurship competition or the china shandong postdoctoral innovation and entrepreneurship competition shall not register for the same category again.
the same project or person is not allowed to register for the competition repeatedly.
starting today, eligible participants can choose different tracks to participate in the competition through online registration (registration website: https://www.sdlxry.com/bshds/). the registration area for the entrepreneurship competition should be selected based on the project’s planned location or location. the registration deadline is september 20.
the registration for the competition is based on a commitment system, and participants are required to commit to the authenticity and legality of the registered projects. the same project or the same person may not register repeatedly in different events or groups.
participants must ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the registration information, and sign the relevant commitment letter in the registration system regarding the ownership of the intellectual property rights of the project plan. the project plan must not contain plagiarism or confidential content. if there are any illegal, irregular or infringing issues, the participants shall bear the relevant responsibilities.
the winners will receive significant policy benefits
each track of the entrepreneurship competition has 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards, 8 bronze awards, and several winning awards. the gold award prize is 50,000 yuan, the silver award prize is 20,000 yuan, the bronze award prize is 10,000 yuan, and there is no prize for the winning award. the winning projects will be awarded certificates, prizes and trophies by the competition organizing committee.
the doctoral (post) project leaders who win the gold medal in this competition will be directly awarded the "shandong talent card", which provides 29 preferential policies and convenient services such as medical care, professional title evaluation, spouse relocation, children's enrollment, and job recruitment within shandong province.
postdoctoral entrepreneurial projects that have registered for and won awards in the entrepreneurship competition and have been implemented in shandong province based on the registered projects will be included in the 2025 "shandong postdoctoral entrepreneurship start-up support plan" and provided with financial support.
