according to an insider, at about 12:00 on august 21, ma was invited to zhao's studio in shangcheng district, hangzhou for lunch. the two drank alcohol, and then zhao and ma had sex. on august 24, ma called the police and said that zhao had raped her. after that, zhao was taken away by the police. currently, zhao has been detained by the public security organs on suspicion of rape.

on the afternoon of august 29, a staff member of the party office of the china academy of art responded to a reporter from the benliu news, saying that they were not clear about the fact that zhao had been taken away by the public security authorities, and suggested that they contact zhao's department to find out. however, no one answered the phone number of the china academy of art's calligraphy department that was made public.
