On Wednesday local time in the United States, AI chip giant Nvidia will release its second quarter financial report for fiscal year 2025. Investors' attention to it has reached a fever pitch, so much so that someone organized an unofficial financial report viewing party in a bar in New York City.

Nvidia's financial report has attracted much attention because it is a bellwether for the AI ​​industry. Investors hope to use its financial report to find clues to understand whether AI investment has begun to peak or continue to maintain its development momentum.

The idea came from Lauren Balik, owner of data analytics consulting firm Upright Analytics and co-host of the podcast Tech Bros Show. On Tuesday, she proposed hosting an earnings viewing party at X, considering renting part of a bar to broadcast Nvidia's earnings call and subsequent financial commentary. She also released a promotional image of the event, saying that the party includes beer, Huang Renxun, and the earnings call broadcast through speakers. However, it should be pointed out that Huang Renxun will attend the Nvidia earnings call and will definitely not attend the party.

As soon as the news came out, Barrick's idea sparked heated discussions among netizens. Some people commented that the idea was cool. Others said they would cancel office meetings to attend the party. Others raised professional questions about whether they should sell long Nvidia stocks.

A few hours later, Balik officially announced that the party would be held at 15:30 on Wednesday afternoon at the Storehouse Bar in the Flatiron Building in New York. Balik said that 12 people had confirmed their participation.
