On August 27, Guangdong Province’s “Yue Huanxin” brand launch conference was held in Guangzhou. The event was guided by Guangdong Province’s special working group for promoting large-scale equipment renewal and consumer goods trade-in, and the “Yue Huanxin” brand was launched at the meeting.
Promoting a new round of large-scale equipment renewal and consumer goods replacement is a major decision and deployment made by the CPC Central Committee with an eye on the overall situation of high-quality development. It is beneficial both in the present and in the long run, stabilizing growth and promoting transformation, benefiting both enterprises and people's livelihood, and has overall strategic significance. Guangdong Province actively responded to the national deployment, issued relevant policies in a timely manner, established a provincial "two new" work team, and vigorously promoted the implementation of large-scale equipment renewal and consumer goods replacement.
It is understood that the "Yue Huanxin" brand released this time is the only official designated brand serving the "two new" work in Guangdong Province under the guidance of the provincial "two new" work team, and it is also the first provincial "two new" work official brand in China. The press conference officially unveiled the "Yue Huanxin" brand name and LOGO, and will adhere to the principles of "government guidance, professional management, open sharing, and free use" to stimulate market vitality, lead the trend of green consumption, and promote resource recycling.
Reporters learned at the meeting that from January to July this year, Guangdong's investment in industrial equipment renewal exceeded 230 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25%. The special team set up the "Yue Huanxin" brand, which will serve as a public welfare brand to promote the two new work. The Yue Huanxin brand will enrich application scenarios and explore new procurement and sales models to further enhance its visibility, influence and credibility, and provide support for creating a good social atmosphere for the two new work.
At the meeting, Ai Xuefeng, director of the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, said that the "Guangdong Huanxin" brand will focus on large-scale equipment renewal to enable high-quality development of the industry; focus on the old-for-new exchange of consumer goods to cultivate more consumption growth points; focus on full-chain recycling and create a "old-for-new" recycling closed loop, etc., to further release investment and consumption potential and accelerate the development of new quality productivity.
Ai Xuefeng announced that the "Yue Huan Xin" brand will be provided free of charge to all eligible government departments, enterprises, institutions and social organizations. As a major province of manufacturing and consumption, Guangdong has a manufacturing and consumption scale of more than 4 trillion yuan, accounting for one-eighth and one-tenth of the country respectively. Ai Xuefeng and Shang Boying both said that they should build on Guangdong's advantages, focus on the two new key areas, and through the construction of the "Guangdong Renewal" brand, adhere to the principle of "government guidance, professional management, open sharing, and free use", fully gather social forces from all aspects such as government, enterprises, consumer organizations, and financial institutions, build a public service platform, strengthen the connection between supply and demand, and strengthen the implementation of the two new work.
