At the press conference, Li Jianping, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, introduced the relevant situation of the conference.

According to the work arrangement of the municipal party committee and municipal government, the conference will be held at Chongqing Yuelai International Conference Center from September 2 to 4. The conference is jointly organized by Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing Economic and Information Commission, Liangjiang New District Management Committee and China Star Network, and hosted by the International Ecological Alliance of Aerospace Information Industry and Chongqing Digital Innovation Park.

"At present, the aerospace information industry represented by satellite communications, navigation, and remote sensing is constantly opening up new areas and tracks for development, creating new momentum and new advantages for development, and is an important part of cultivating and developing new quality productivity. Its supporting and leading role in economic and social development is becoming increasingly prominent." Li Jianping said that as an important foundation of the aerospace information industry, Beidou is accelerating the empowerment of all walks of life, and the aerospace information service system with integrated air, space, and ground, and deep integration of communication, navigation, and remote sensing is accelerating its formation. This year marks the 30th anniversary of China's Beidou, and the large-scale application of Beidou is entering a critical stage of marketization, industrialization, and internationalization.

"In preparation for the conference, we established a high-level organizing committee, formulated a systematic and complete overall plan and plans for various sub-activity, carefully planned 10 theme activities, and coordinated the work of inviting guests, news publicity, and service guarantees. At present, all preparatory work has been basically completed." Li Jianping introduced the characteristics of this conference in five aspects.

——The first characteristic is systematic planning.

We will systematically design and continuously create conference activities that are distinctive to Chongqing and have national influence in accordance with the idea of ​​“four ones”.

That is, to hold an international ecological conference on the aerospace information industry, invite domestic and foreign industry leaders to discuss the future of the industry; build a high-end think tank for the aerospace information industry to share new ideas and trends in industry development, and provide decision-making advice to promote high-quality development of the industry; focus on the distinctive theme of "large-scale application, ecological empowerment", focus on sub-sectors in combination with industry development trends, and make systematic and sustainable layouts.

——The second characteristic is the clear theme.

This conference focuses on Beidou, with the theme of "large-scale application, ecological empowerment", and arranges 10 events, which can be roughly divided into 4 categories.

Scientists, entrepreneurs and investment experts in the field of aerospace information were invited to form the Chongqing Aerospace Information Industry Expert Committee and hold its first meeting.

Prepare for the opening ceremony and main forum of the conference, and showcase the new achievements of the city's aerospace information industry through keynote reports and results releases.

Seven special forums and corporate ecological activities were held, mainly covering seven aspects, including enabling modern governance of megacities, industrialization of aerospace information data elements, and integrated applications of 5G+Beidou.

Carry out industrial docking activities in Liangjiang New Area to showcase the prosperous ecology of the development of Chongqing's aerospace information industry in multiple dimensions.

——The third feature is the gathering of big names.

The conference has invited national ministries such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to participate, as well as many academicians from the two academies in the field of aerospace information, including Academician Li Deren, winner of the National Highest Science and Technology Award, heads of leading companies such as China Star Network, Huawei, and China Siwei, heads of universities and research institutions such as Beijing Institute of Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Space Information Innovation Institute, and heads of domestic and foreign industry organizations such as the International Astronautical Federation and the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association will also attend the meeting.

During the conference, the expert committee will release relevant initiatives on Beidou's large-scale application to the society and jointly promote Beidou's large-scale application and high-quality development of the industry.

China Star Network was invited to co-organize this conference, which will give full play to China Star Network's advantages as a leading enterprise in the aerospace information industry, and help the central and local governments jointly build a national Beidou large-scale application pilot zone, a demonstration zone for high-quality development of the aerospace information industry, and a national core hub for space-time information services.

We invite leading companies such as Beidou Intelligent Network, Changan Automobile, and Higer Star Navigation to jointly plan ecological activities with industrial chain ecological companies to help form a new ecology with mutual cooperation between industry, academia, research and application, and close collaboration between the industrial chain.

Many entrepreneurs were invited to participate in industry matching activities to comprehensively promote the policy environment, unique advantages, open scenarios, and supporting services for the development of the aerospace information industry in Liangjiang New Area.

——The fifth characteristic is sharing of opportunities.

Adhering to the development strategy of government setting up the platform, enterprises taking the lead, scenarios driving, and leading companies driving the development, we will work with China Star Network to launch a pilot action to promote the large-scale application of Beidou, and release a number of large-span, comprehensive application scenarios of aerospace information such as Yangtze River waterway shipping and Chongqing East Station, as well as a number of scientific and technological research projects to the whole society.

Adhering to the spirit of "open cooperation, co-construction and sharing", giving full play to the hub role of the conference platform, we warmly welcome industry ecosystem enterprises, universities, and research institutions to participate in action implementation, scenario planning, technical research, engineering development, and project construction, and jointly explore new paths, new models, and new business forms for the marketization of Beidou's large-scale applications, build a new Beidou ecosystem, and work together with the Beidou large-scale application pilot zone to create a trillion-level aerospace information industry cluster.
