On the afternoon of August 26, the test flight ceremony of Guiyang Xiuwen Low-altitude Flight Service Base was held in Xiuwen Economic Development Zone.
The test flight ceremony was hosted by Xiuwen County Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Guizhou New Silver Eagle General Aviation Service Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Guiyang Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd. It aims to seize the strategic opportunities for the development of low-altitude economy, explore new quality productivity practice samples, promote technical exchanges and cooperation, promote economic transformation and upgrading, and build a modern industrial system. More than 300 people participated, including relevant industry authorities of provinces, cities and counties, various overseas offices of the municipal government, industry experts, representatives of enterprises and associations, and media reporters.
With its rich bauxite resources, vast and clean airspace resources, colorful tourism resources, well-connected transportation and logistics infrastructure, solid industrial foundation, and numerous supporting enterprises including Guizhou Tire, Xiuwen County has provided unique natural resource advantages, vast airspace application space, unique tourism integration opportunities and solid industrial support for the development of low-altitude economic industries. It is understood that the planned area of the Xiuwen low-altitude flight service base is 188 acres, with an estimated total investment of 300 million yuan. The cooperation project will focus on the "hot" industry of low-altitude economy, and comprehensively launch the construction of industrial infrastructure such as low-altitude flight service bases, flight runways, hangar rooms, and manufacturing plants, and overall plan the Xiuwen low-altitude economic industrial cluster area to create a new engine to promote high-quality development of the regional economy.
At the test flight ceremony, Xiuwen County signed a total of 15 project agreements around the low-altitude economic industry, including low-altitude economic equipment manufacturing, financial fund support, infrastructure construction, flight service guarantee, etc.
During the event, the China Pilots Association also presented a plaque to Guiyang Sports Development Co., Ltd., establishing the Guiyang Xiuwen Low-altitude Flight Service Base as a branch examination site of the Guizhou Examination Center for Civil Unmanned Aircraft Operator License.
After the awarding ceremony, accompanied by the roar of the engine, the test flight ceremony of Guiyang Xiuwen Low-altitude Flight Service Base was officially launched. The helicopter slowly rose from Guiyang Xiuwen Low-altitude Flight Service Base and flew over Xiuwen Taoyuan River Scenic Area to conduct an aerial tour experience. Subsequently, the scene also carried out real-life demonstrations of emergency scenarios such as drone detection of fire sources, fire extinguishing, throwing emergency rescue materials, mounting wounded transfer, drone plant protection, and helicopter stunts. The scene also carried out a flight driving simulation experience. In the cockpit of the aircraft simulator, the instruments in the form of three-dimensional stereo images clearly and intuitively displayed the low-altitude flight visual landscape.
It is reported that in the next step, the county will adhere to the "resources + market + application scenarios" approach, innovatively explore new paths and models for the development of low-altitude economy, actively introduce and cultivate a batch of low-altitude enterprises, carry out "low-altitude + N" application expansion, and promote exchanges and cooperation in industries such as tourism, culture, sports, municipal construction, and public services.
