Recently, the "Changdalong" ro-ro vessel of Shenzhen China Merchants Ro-Ro Transport Co., Ltd. was loaded with 870 domestic second-hand cars and exported to the Middle East at Shenzhen Dachan Bay Terminal. This is the first time in recent years that Dachan Bay Terminal has exported a large number of cars by ro-ro ship. According to the relevant person in charge of Shenzhen Shengshi Kaiyuan Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., this batch of exported cars are mainly second-hand cars of BYD, Volkswagen and other brands produced in China. Domestically produced automobile products have fast iterations, advanced technology and high cost performance, and are very popular in the international market. Exporting by ro-ro ship can smoothly complete customs clearance procedures and ship in time.
It is understood that since the beginning of this year, in order to ensure the smooth export of domestic second-hand cars, Shenzhen Customs has coordinated with local commerce departments to optimize the export inspection and license application process for domestic second-hand cars, and supported 18 companies to obtain new domestic second-hand car export qualifications. At the same time, it understands information such as the reservation of export warehouses for domestic second-hand cars, assists companies in connecting with terminal inspection positions, routes and other resources, and implements "advance declaration + direct loading upon arrival + preferential lifting and preferential inspection" to continuously promote the development of the domestic second-hand car export industry.
