China News Service, August 26. According to Russia Today (RT), in the early morning of August 26 local time, Roman Busartin, Governor of Russia's Saratov Oblast, announced that a drone launched by Ukraine attacked a 38-story apartment building in the state.

Busartin reportedly said Russian air defenses retaliated against the attack, but that falling "drone fragments" hit houses in the regional capital of Saratov and the city of Engels.
According to reports, a video on social media showed that a suicide drone hit a 38-story apartment building in Saratov Oblast. Russian News Agency quoted local health authorities as saying that the attack injured four people, including a woman who was seriously injured.
Another drone crashed into an apartment building in the city of Engels, with debris damaging parked cars, the report said.
In addition to the drone attack in Saratov Oblast, Alexander Bogomaz, governor of Russia's Bryansk Oblast, said a drone was shot down over Bryansk Oblast.
The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying that a total of 20 drones were intercepted overnight, nine of which were located over Saratov Oblast.
