According to the organizers, as the star event of the 15th Beijing Olympic City Sports and Culture Festival, the Mini Triathlon has been held at the Beijing Olympic Triathlon venue for three consecutive years, aiming to allow young athletes to experience the Olympic culture, inherit the Olympic spirit, and gain a special experience. With the continuous holding of the event and the continuous improvement of the event quality, the Mini Triathlon has become an important event in Beijing that is widely followed and loved by young people and parents. The places are hotly sought after as soon as they are released. With the continuous spillover of the brand effect, many young people from other cities outside Beijing have signed up to participate this year.
It is reported that in order to highlight the atmosphere of the "Olympic Year" and let the participating "little triathlons" better experience the dual Olympic culture and love the Olympic movement, a dual Olympic theme camp was held at the Yongle Youth Sports Base Camp in Changping District from August 24 to 25. The camp fully integrates the dual Olympic elements and focuses on sports and cultural experience. It has set up areas such as the photo-taking and check-in area for Olympic collections, the local exhibition and sales area, the cycling project theme area, the water project theme area, the running project theme area, and the dual Olympic cultural painting area. Among them, in addition to exhibiting the torches, medals, and mascots of the Beijing Olympic Games and the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, there are also special fun experiences and professional training for swimming, cycling, and running to help the participating young players better familiarize themselves with and participate in the mini triathlon.
