Reporters learned from the Jinchang Meteorological Bureau and the Wuwei Meteorological Bureau that from 18:00 to 22:00 on the 24th, the maximum cumulative rainfall in Jinchang reached 78.8 mm, the cumulative rainfall in Jinchang urban area reached 60.9 mm, and the cumulative rainfall in Wuwei urban area and other places exceeded 50 mm.

Heavy rainfall caused waterlogging on some roads in Jinchang and Wuwei. According to the Jinchang Emergency Management Bureau, in Shuangwan Town, Jinchuan District, Jinchang City, a flood torrent caused by heavy rainfall swept away a car carrying two people. When rescuers found the car in the early morning of the 25th, the two people had no vital signs.

The reporter learned from Gansu Water Affairs Shandan Water Supply Co., Ltd. that due to heavy rainfall, the water supply main network from Baishiya Reservoir in Shandan County, Zhangye City to the water plant was cut off by floods, causing serious impact on the water supply production of the water plant. At present, the company is organizing emergency repairs to the damaged main network.

Lanzhou Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for severe convective weather at 9:50 on the 25th.
