Hubei Daily (Reporter Liu Jie, Correspondent Li Fengqing) On August 23, Meituan and Vanke Service released the "Rider Access Solution". The two companies have achieved data docking, and riders can scan the mini-program QR code at the entrance of the community for instant verification, and the entire access process only takes a few seconds. The results of the cooperation between the two parties will be launched in more than 3,000 communities managed by Vanke Service within this month.
At 11:30 a.m. that day, at the south gate of Vanke Hankou Legend Tangyue Community in Jianghan District, Huang Jie, a Meituan rider who came to deliver food, scanned the QR code at the gate with his mobile phone. He entered his mobile phone number on the system page, and in less than 1 second, the system completed the identity verification of Huang Jie's rider, and then the "access code" appeared on the mobile phone screen. Huang Jie pointed the "access code" at the community access control device, and the access control automatically opened, and then he walked into the community to deliver food.
"It is indeed very convenient. In the past, we had to register at the gate, which took several minutes, and we had to queue up during peak hours. Now automatic recognition is completed in just a few seconds, which greatly improves work efficiency," said Huang Jie.
Tong Xiaoxia, product manager of Vanke Property Services, said that the data of the property services and Meituan are interoperable. After the rider enters his mobile phone number, the property services can verify the rider's identity. "When a rider enters the same community, he does not need to enter his mobile phone number twice within 7 days, which is more convenient."
According to Gong Jian, a security guard at Tangyue Community, there are more than a hundred Meituan riders delivering meals from the south gate every day. Previously, they had to queue up at the gate to register during the peak delivery period. Now with the new system, riders can come and go as they please, which is much more convenient.
It is reported that Wuhan has always paid great attention to and cared about the employment groups in new business formats. Based on the pilot creation of 5 "friendly communities" for riders last year, it plans to build 100 "friendly communities" for riders this year, and strive to solve the problem of the last 100 meters of delivery for riders.
Yang Guanghui, Vice General Manager of Vanke Cloud and Chief Partner of Vanke Service, said that this solution is the result of the cooperation of the technologies of both companies, which not only meets the efficiency of riders' passage, but also ensures the order of visitor registration in the community, turning the industry's pain points into service highlights. Vanke Service will actively participate in the co-construction and continuously improve the experience of the last 100 meters of delivery.
Zhang Ruoyu, general manager of Meituan Delivery, said that property management is the key to solving the problem of the last 100 meters of community food delivery. The technology teams of both sides have made rapid progress since the docking, and the results can be implemented in more than 3,000 communities at one time in less than a month. Meituan will work closely with Vanke Property in rider-friendly communities to accelerate the promotion of rider-friendly community access solutions, taking into account the convenience of residents' lives and community order.
