It is reported that Nanshiyang Grand Canyon is known as the "Colorado" of China. It has rich geological landscapes, natural resources and cultural resources, and is famous for its scenery of "one gorge, nine valleys, eighteen bays and seventy-two nodes". The complex landforms such as canyons, strange peaks and cliffs here constitute a majestic, strange, steep and quiet landscape, giving birth to landscapes such as Tianwang Tower, Luo Datian, hanging coffins, a line of sky, skylight, black dragon pool and the pillar of the sky. The road in the canyon is tortuous and deep, and the mountain composed of sedimentary rocks, metamorphic rocks and igneous rocks is even more steep.

After the "23.7" flood, the Nanshiyang Canyon underwent a year of restoration, reconstruction and upgrading. The geological wonder in western Beijing reopened to visitors and launched three immersive hiking routes in nature, geology and culture.
In the natural experience route, tourists can start a journey of "seeking light marks" in the form of postcard check-ins, and enjoy the most representative landscapes in the canyon, such as the Line of Sky and Tianwang Tower; the geological route is led by doctoral students from the University of Geology, who explain geological knowledge along the way, allowing tourists to intuitively feel the rich geological resources of the Nanshiyang Grand Canyon; the cultural route is presented in the form of an immersive interactive script game, showing the historical heritage of Nanshiyang and the cultural elements of Liao and Jin Dynasties through role-playing and plot interpretation.

At the same time, the first 9-day Canyon Life Festival also kicked off, and tourists can participate in theme day activities such as leisure day, outdoor day, pet day and drama day. The Life Festival is themed "leisure + outdoor" and starts the "oxygen injection plan". Tourists can participate in special theme activities such as hiking, rock climbing, water sports, drama performances, immersive drama tours, etc. in the scenic area. While enjoying pure natural sports, they can also experience another leisure lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
On the leisure day, visitors can buy their favorite trendy items at the Dopamine Oxygen Injection Market, or participate in a daze competition in various postures such as lying, prone, sitting, lying on your back, leaning, etc. The "No Banana Green - Autumn Concert" allows visitors to enjoy the warm sunshine of early autumn in the mountains with the accompaniment of music and release their emotions in the valley.
On the outdoor day, Nanshiyang Grand Canyon created five major outdoor projects, including obstacle course challenge, via ferrata climbing, suspended ladder, paddle board, and 10-kilometer hike. On the drama day, the humanistic elements of the scenic spot are exported through the interaction between real NPCs and tourists. Visitors can explore customized plot stories with the humanistic color of Nanshiyang, and compete with NPCs to win exclusive rewards. At the same time, the scenic spot also cooperated with drama brands to present interactive drama performances for tourists. In addition, as a pet-friendly scenic spot, the Canyon Life Festival has also designed a variety of pet leisure experiences for pet lovers, such as themed camping, paddle board check-in, pet blessing and canyon play.
