Shanghai, August 24 (Yin Liqin Lei Yu) Since August, the continued high temperatures in East China have echoed with the record-breaking travel peak. The operational data of East China Air Traffic Control have reached historical highs, and the flight volume of each operating unit under the Air Traffic Control Center of the East China Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration has increased by double digits compared with the pre-summer travel season.

Statistics show that the East China region supported 7,769 flights on August 7, breaking the 7,700 mark for the first time in history and constantly approaching 7,800 flights. Since August, the average daily number of flights in the East China region has exceeded 7,500, also setting a new record. At the same time, the Shanghai Pudong Tower of the Civil Aviation East China Air Traffic Management Bureau supported 1,597 flights on August 7, with an average daily number of flights exceeding 1,550 since August, continuously breaking historical records. The Shanghai Terminal Area supported 3,242 flights on August 15, with an average daily number of flights exceeding 3,100 since August, also setting a historical high.

In the face of the peak, the Air Traffic Control Center of the Civil Aviation Administration of China's East China Air Traffic Control Administration, on the basis of promoting various security measures such as "flexible rerouting" and "dynamic departure" in the early stage, increased and dispatched operational duty forces. Responsible comrades at all levels were rooted in the front line, taking the lead in keeping a close eye on various operational links, and making every effort to ensure the safety of air traffic control operations; reducing unnecessary administrative affairs arrangements for front-line controllers during the summer travel season, ensuring that front-line operational forces can concentrate and get enough rest, and provide good operational guarantees during the critical stage of the summer travel season; for various new contradictions and new risks that arise during the operation process, the Air Traffic Control Center of the Civil Aviation Administration of China's East China Air Traffic Control Administration conducted analysis and research at the first time, summarized relevant experiences and lessons, and immediately formed relevant response plans to continuously balance efficiency and safety and improve operational quality.
