In the video, the netizen asked the question in the voice Q&A function of the smartwatch, and the answer he got was, "The following content comes from 360 search..." The following content includes "Because Chinese people have small eyes, small noses, small mouths, small eyebrows, and big faces, their heads appear to be the largest among all races." "Everyone says how great ancient China was, and what the Four Great Inventions were. Have you seen them? History can be fabricated." According to the netizen, the watch was purchased in 2023, mainly to prevent his daughter from getting lost. The brand of the watch is 360 children's watch.

She provided a screenshot of the purchase order of the watch to the reporter, showing that in May 2022, she bought a 360 children's phone watch 10X from the 360 self-operated flagship store on a certain online shopping platform, and the actual payment was 399 yuan. On the morning of August 22, Da Wan News reporters saw that the children's phone watch was on sale in the store on a certain platform.
The netizen described to Da Wan News reporters her daughter's reaction after hearing the answer from her phone watch to the question "Are Chinese the smartest people in the world?" She and her husband were also shocked. They later tried asking the same question several times on the watch and got the same answer. "We posted this just to warn parents. I have the responsibility to let my children know that the country's development and history cannot be slandered by insulting words."
In response, 360 customer service staff said that this problem was caused by dynamically grabbing answers from third-party network sources as answers. Ads would pop up automatically after opening the App, and they could not be closed until the advertisement was finished playing.
The Beijing News commented that children's watches are becoming increasingly integrated into children's daily lives and becoming their close "playmates", and therefore must be subject to closer scrutiny and assessment and cannot be allowed to grow as wildly as they are now.
