On August 22, a provincial disability prevention key contact area work meeting was held in Jinan, with 16 disability prevention key contact areas including Yantai, Weifang, and Jining participating. Shen Xiaoyong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Shandong Disabled Persons' Federation, led a team to the Shunying Community of Jinan High-tech Zone to observe the progress of Jinan's creation of the "National Disability Prevention Key Contact Area" and the advancement of the Disability Prevention Action Plan. Yu Hong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, and Gao Hengxin, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone, attended the event.
The delegation first listened to the introduction of the current status of disability prevention work in the city, the construction of disability prevention positions and networks, and the "Internet + Home Rehabilitation" scientific and technological innovation project in the High-tech Zone. They watched a promotional video about Jinan City's creation of a national key contact area for disability prevention, and inspected domestic innovative assistive products such as smart bionic hands and hydraulic knee joints. The delegation said that Jinan City and the High-tech Zone attached great importance to the disability prevention action plan and the construction of key contact areas, and the progress was smooth. All work measures were solid and effective, and significant results were achieved.
In recent years, the Ministry of Social Affairs has taken the construction of "National Key Contact Areas for Disability Prevention" as an opportunity, and in accordance with the unified deployment of provinces and cities, insisted on taking the "Internet + Home Rehabilitation" project as the guide, supported by the technical platform, and giving full play to the advantages of the large department system. It has successfully built an "N+1+X" service system, and has provided services to 5,030 disabled people and 43 stroke patients, and gradually formed a disability prevention and rehabilitation development pattern led by the Disabled Persons' Federation, supported by the health and health care system, participated by the society, and combined with civil affairs and medical insurance.
In the next step, under the guidance and help of the provincial and municipal disabled persons' federations, the Ministry of Social Affairs will combine the actual situation of the district, continue to give play to the advantages of the high-tech zone as a "source of high-tech innovation", anchor the goal of disability prevention and precision rehabilitation, adhere to the right path and innovate, work hard, and further promote the "Internet + home rehabilitation" innovation project, so that the development results brought by digital technology can benefit more and better groups of people with disabilities.
