IT Home reported on August 23 that Sennheiser announced today that it has established a strategic partnership with the intelligent pure electric vehicle brand smart to jointly explore the future high-end in-car audio experience.

The new smart Elf #5 large five-seater SUV will be the first model of smart equipped with Sennheiser's classic sound system. This cooperation will cover global markets, including China and Europe. On August 28, the new smart Elf #5 will make its global debut in Australia.

It is reported that the Sennheiser classic audio system installed in smart elf #5 includes 20 speakers and 1 original car full-scene portable HiFi speaker, with a peak output power of more than 2000 watts and supports Dolby Atmos.

According to previous reports by IT Home, the smart Elf #5 large five-seater SUV will make its domestic debut at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show (opening on August 30) and will be launched in the Chinese market within the year.

The exterior image of the smart Elf #5 large five-seater SUV has been released before. It is said to be from the global design team of Mercedes-Benz, with a square box shape and forward-looking design. The front face of the car adopts a two-color design, with champagne, green and silver paint. There are four light groups arranged above the grille. The overall shape is highly recognizable, and the side of the body adopts the currently popular hidden door handle design.

The car will be the world's first mass-produced car equipped with ByteDance's "Doubao" AI large model. Its body size is 4705x1920x1705mm and its wheelbase is 2900mm.
