The film is based on the story of China's first plateau baseball team. It tells the story of a young boy named Duojie who has a "baseball dream" and his friends who form the "Wild Goat Baseball Team" with the help of Yu Kun, the former "Monster Pitcher" of the former national baseball team, and change their fate through unremitting efforts.
