The Beijing Youth League Committee continues to care for the new employment groups and provides support to the "Brothers" in various ways. Since the summer vacation, the Beijing Youth League Committee has joined hands with multiple departments to select catering stores to pilot the construction of 200 "Brother Gas Stations" to provide meal discounts for couriers and takeaway deliverymen. So far, a total of nearly 760,000 couriers and takeaway deliverymen have been served.

According to reports, the Beijing Youth League Committee, in conjunction with the Municipal Party Committee's Social Work Department, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision, and the Beijing Cooking Association, selected 200 stores in the city's districts, including Nanchengxiang, Tian Laoshi Braised Pork, and Western Mahua Beef Noodles, to build "Brother Gas Stations and Catering Stores" to provide a warm dining environment for couriers and deliverymen. In addition to providing exclusive discounts for couriers and deliverymen, these "Brother Gas Stations" built on the basis of catering stores can also provide services such as resting, cooling off, heating, drinking water, hot meals, mobile phone charging, and wireless Internet access.

In the past two months, these "Brother Gas Stations" have served nearly 760,000 couriers and takeaway drivers, with a cumulative discount amount of approximately 4.08 million yuan.

Since the summer vacation this year, the Beijing Youth League Committee has focused on the newly employed groups and carried out various forms of caring activities to bring coolness to the "young brothers" in the hot summer. In order to solve the problem of unattended children of the newly employed groups during the summer vacation, the Youth League Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee relies on the community youth meeting to carry out the Red Scarf Growth Camp project to provide summer care and other services for the children of the "young brothers" who come to Beijing to visit relatives during the summer vacation. The Youth League Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee also jointly carried out condolences with the Municipal Postal Administration Bureau, sending customized "young brothers service packages" to express delivery takeaway drivers, and urging everyone to establish a strong sense of safety at work and pay attention to the combination of work and rest.

In Xicheng District and Fengtai District, the Youth League organizations in each district also provide free haircuts, free health consultations, medication consultations, Chinese medicine therapy and massage services during the summer vacation based on their own realities. The Chaoyang District Youth League Committee, in conjunction with the East District Postal Administration and the local streets, launched the "Brother Gas Station" youth networking event to help new employment groups expand their social circles.

In the next step, the Municipal Youth League Committee will earnestly implement the work mechanism of party building leading youth league building, innovate working methods, continue to care for and show concern for new employment groups such as couriers and deliverymen, help them deeply integrate into the city, and assist in community grassroots governance.
