The theme of this event was "Chasing Science Stars, Building the Dream of a Strong Country". Through a series of colorful visits and practical activities, nearly 70 outstanding primary and secondary school students from all over the province were able to experience the charm of scientists up close, comprehend the true meaning of the spirit of scientists, and complete a scientific journey full of exploration and discovery.
In this science camp, Anhui Science and Technology Museum integrated high-quality exhibition and education resources, innovated the form of activities, and "linked with Anhui Innovation Museum", "combined museums and institutes" with scientific research institutes, and "mutual assistance between museums and enterprises" with science and technology enterprises, jointly creating a full-scale and multi-angle learning and experience scene for campers. During the event, under the guidance of professional science and technology tutors, the campers visited the Anhui Science and Technology Museum, Anhui Innovation Museum, China University of Science and Technology History Museum and other scientific spirit education bases, watched films of older scientists such as Qian Xuesen and Yuan Longping, and the popular science drama "National Star Yonghuai" based on the story of scientist Guo Yonghuai, listened to the theme lecture on the spirit of scientists, visited famous scientific research institutions such as the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, took a future aircraft to travel in the mysterious universe, and walked into the production line of science and technology innovation enterprises such as Jianghuai Horticulture. The children carefully observed, practiced with their own hands, and explored in depth. They not only felt the charm of science and technology, understood the life stories, outstanding contributions, and the noble spirit of pursuing scientific truth and climbing the peak of science of scientists, but also experienced a lot of knowledge that could not be learned from books, and improved their hands-on ability and teamwork ability.
