The athletes, coaches and other delegation members took two open-top buses and departed from the Hong Kong Sports Institute in the morning, passing through the MTR Tai Wai Station, Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, and then through the Cross-Harbour Tunnel to the Central Star Ferry Pier, and then arrived at the final destination, Tamar Park, where many citizens lined the streets to welcome them. The athletes then interacted with students in Tamar Park and shared their experiences and insights in participating in the Olympic Games.
