At 10:40 am today (August 20), with the safe landing of flight G11101 at Bayingolbuluke Airport in Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, the Xinjiang Bayingolbuluke Airport officially opened to traffic.

Xinjiang is the province with the most airports in my country, with 26 currently operating civil airports. After the opening of Bayingbuluke Airport, the number of civil airports in operation in Xinjiang has increased to 27.

Bayinbuluke Airport is located southwest of Bayinbuluke Town, Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, about 13.5 kilometers away from the town center, covering an area of 174.7 hectares. The airport is 2,506.85 meters above sea level, with a flight zone grade of 4C. It is the second high-altitude airport in Xinjiang.
