On August 20, 2024, the Qingdao Marine Tourism Joint Operation Center held an opening ceremony at No. 1 Mengyin Road.

According to the requirements and deployment of the "Three-Year Action Plan for Improving the Quality of Tourism in Qingdao", Qingdao Tourism Group has fulfilled the responsibilities of state-owned enterprises, given full play to the role of market entities, and vigorously promoted the integration of Qingdao's maritime tourism. Joint operation and unified management are achieved from the five dimensions of docks, routes, ticket sales, settlement, and operations. By implementing the "five unifications", the quality of maritime tourism and the level of management and operation have been comprehensively improved. Since the beginning of this year, Qingdao Tourism Group has actively integrated dock resources and established a joint marine tourism operation body with a number of private enterprises, realizing the transformation of Qingdao's maritime tourism market from dispersion to unification, and the order of maritime tourism has been significantly improved. The in-depth combination of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises has achieved the optimization and efficient utilization of resource allocation, bringing tourists a better boating experience. Up to now, maritime tourism cruise ships have operated more than 60,000 voyages, received more than 1.7 million tourists, and had an operating income of over 100 million yuan, which has effectively promoted the high-quality development of Qingdao's marine tourism economy.
