CCTV News:Recently, affected by high temperatures and rainfall in some major vegetable producing areas, vegetable prices have risen in many places. Some vegetable markets have launched a variety of measures such as "affordable vegetable" promotions to ensure a stable supply of agricultural products. Let's take a look at the reporter's visits in Zhejiang and Shanghai.

At 9 a.m., in the vegetable section of a wholesale market in Changxing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang, business operators were busy putting all kinds of fresh vegetables on the shelves. According to business operators, vegetable prices have gradually risen since early July. Currently, there are 30 to 40 different types of vegetables that have seen price increases.

It is understood that the current local vegetable production in Changxing is very small, and most of the vegetables sold on the market come from Anhui, Henan, Shandong and other places. Affected by the local high temperature and rainfall, the overall production is relatively small recently, so the price will continue to rise. It is expected that the vegetable price will gradually fall in September.

In Shanghai, many vegetable markets are offering sales to cope with seasonal vegetable price increases. In a vegetable market in Xuhui District, vegetable stalls have posted promotional information on special-price vegetables, with almost every stall offering two special-price vegetables, with the sales price being the same as the purchase price.
