The fifth session of the ninth Baoshan District People's Congress opens

On the afternoon of August 19, the Fifth Session of the Ninth People's Congress of Baoshan District, Shanghai, was grandly opened at the District Party School.
Li Chenhao, Li Ping, Lu Yiyi, Wu Zhihong, Wang Liyan, Xu Huawei, Gu Jin and Lu Jun, the executive chairmen of the conference presidium, sat in the front row of the rostrum. Other leaders who sat in the rostrum included Deng Xiaodong, Hu Baoguo, Hong Qing, Chen Yunbin, Gao Lu and veteran comrade Zhang Jing.
There were 353 delegates who were supposed to attend the conference, and 317 delegates actually attended, meeting the legal number.
Li Ping presided over the meeting and announced the opening of the Fifth Session of the Ninth People's Congress of Baoshan District. The audience stood up and sang the national anthem.
The meeting listened to the explanation of the draft method for by-elections at the conference and voted to pass it.
Before the first plenary session, the Fifth Session of the Ninth People's Congress of Baoshan District held a preparatory meeting, and the presidium of the congress held its first and second meetings. After the first plenary session, the presidium of the congress held its third and fourth meetings.
