Since its full opening on December 18, 2023, the Hainan Ring Island Tourism Highway has become a new hotspot for Hainan tourism. This ring island highway named "tourism" is about 988 kilometers long and runs through 12 coastal cities and counties such as Haikou, Wenchang, and Qionghai. It is like a "pearl necklace" that connects many characteristic bays, towns, and tourist attractions on Hainan Island.

Since the beginning of summer vacation, more and more tourists have started their Hainan Ring Island Tourist Highway check-in trips by self-driving, cycling, motorcycle travel, etc. This tourist highway and the villages and towns along the route have burst into new vitality.

New routes bring new experiences

The azure blue sea, the continuous reefs, the lighthouse known as "the first in Asia"... At Mulan Bay on the Wenchang section of Hainan Ring Island Tourism Highway, Zhou Zhiju, a tourist from Xi'an, and his family sat together drinking coconuts after playing at the beach, taking a short break and preparing to go to the next attraction.

The reporter saw a large number of cars parked on one side of the road in the Mulan Bay section. In addition to local cars, there were also many vehicles from other places such as Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Guangxi and other places.
