Recently, the world's first and largest-scale horizontally split centrifugal compressor unit, a key equipment developed and produced by Shenyang Blower Group for the 60MW liquid air energy storage demonstration project in Golmud, Qinghai, successfully completed its one-time mechanical test, and all indicators of the mechanical operation test were better than the contract provisions and international standards.
The reporter learned that the compressor of this project has a fast one-button start and stop function, which can meet the requirements of energy storage technology, realize the intelligent and automated management of the site, and ensure the efficient and safe operation of the whole machine, and reach the industry-leading level. "Fatigue resistance is a key indicator for measuring the reliability of the unit. The excellent fatigue resistance of the unit can ensure that the unit can withstand at least 20,000 starts and stops, and has a service life of at least 30 years, ensuring that the start and stop times requirements of the unit are met throughout its life cycle." This project is a landmark "unveiling the challenge" liquid air energy storage project in Qinghai Province.
