According to public data, the average daily number of online ride-hailing orders in many cities declined in the second quarter.

Data released by the Xiamen Municipal Transportation Bureau showed that the average daily number of online ride-hailing orders in the city in the second quarter was about 565,100, a month-on-month increase of 15.82%. The average daily number of orders per vehicle was about 180,900, a month-on-month decrease of 2.42%.

Data from Hangzhou's online car-hailing supervision system shows that in the second quarter of 2024, the city's average daily total number of online car-hailing orders was 1.2917 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.84% and a month-on-month increase of 14.21%. The average daily number of orders per car was 15.73, a year-on-year decrease of 4.52% and a month-on-month decrease of 4.91%.

The "Operational Dynamics and Risk Warnings of Nanning's Online Car-hailing Industry in the Second Quarter of 2024" released by the Nanning Transportation Bureau shows that in the second quarter, the city's total daily online car-hailing orders were about 329,800, a year-on-year increase of 13.92%. The average daily order volume per vehicle was about 10.2 orders, a year-on-year decrease of 10.53%.
