"In order to watch the sunrise at the beach,
We spent a sleepless night on the beach.
Although I didn't see it in the end,
But the act of bravery
It makes more sense for us.”

A thrilling life-and-death rescue was staged
At 5 a.m. that day, 60-year-old Mr. Li suddenly felt unwell during his morning swim at the beach. In desperation, three classmates launched a relay rescue operation in the sea.
In the early morning of that day, before the first ray of sunlight completely unveiled the curtain of night, three students from the Railway Equipment Manufacturing College of Shaanxi Railway Institute, Liu Jinghui, Wang Zeyang and Bai Yunbo, went to Shilaoren Bathing Beach to enjoy the magnificent sunrise with full of longing for the beauty of nature.
At around 5 o'clock in the morning, the sea seemed exceptionally calm and there were few tourists. They decided to take advantage of the tranquility to swim in the sea and enjoy the coolness and freedom brought by the sea water.
While the three were enjoying the fun of exploring the ocean world, Liu Jinghui suddenly noticed something strange in the distant sea. He noticed an old man with red eyes struggling helplessly in the water, and his condition was very critical.
Realizing that this might be a signal for someone to drown and need help, Liu Jinghui immediately asked loudly about the old man's condition. However, the old man might have choked on water so badly that his voice was weak. He could only wave his hands and vaguely shouted "Help".
Faced with this sudden emergency, Liu Jinghui did not hesitate at all and quickly called his companions Wang Lu Zeyang and Bai Yunbo for help.
Since Liu Jinghui was closer to the old man, he took the lead, bravely swam towards the old man, grabbed his arm tightly, and held the old man's body steadily to prevent him from choking on water again.
Immediately afterwards, Wang Zeyang also quickly joined the rescue team. The two worked together to lift the old man steadily in the water, showing extraordinary courage.
Considering that he was not good at swimming, Bai Yunbo wisely waited in the shallow water, ready to help bring the old man to shore safely.
Finally, with the joint efforts of the three students, they successfully lifted the old man onto the beach and immediately called 120 emergency number, which bought precious time for the follow-up treatment of the old man.
The rescued man is surnamed Li, 60 years old, and has the habit of morning swimming. On the day of the incident, he was swimming in the morning as usual, and suddenly felt unwell. "At first, my hands and feet were out of control, and then my legs gradually lost sensation." Mr. Li's family said that fortunately, the rescue was timely, and Mr. Li's condition was under control and is currently stable.
"When faced with such an emergency, rushing over is an instinctive reaction." Liu Jinghui said that although he had learned to swim as a child and had developed good water skills, he was still afraid when facing an emergency in the sea. However, at that time, he only wanted to rescue the person and save a life, and finally his instinct overcame his fear. Bai Yunbo said that although he could not swim, he tried his best to stay calm during the rescue process and provided support to the other two classmates. He said: "I think this is an unforgettable experience, and it also makes me cherish life more."
Liu Mingxue, vice president of Shaanxi Railway Engineering Vocational and Technical College, said: "When they saw someone calling for help in the water, the three students did not hesitate or back down and extended a helping hand. This is undoubtedly a manifestation of courage, responsibility and love. I am extremely proud to have students like them in the railway college and I give them a thumbs up!"
