The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli army launched multiple rounds of attacks on several towns on the Lebanese side of the temporary border between Lebanon and Israel on the 17th. Among them, Israel launched an airstrike on a building in southern Lebanon in the early morning of the same day, killing ten people and injuring five. The dead were all Syrian nationals. Lebanon's Hezbollah said that after the airstrike, they fired rockets into northern Israel in retaliation.

The Israeli Defense Forces reported on the 17th that they detected dozens of rocket attacks from Lebanon that day, which triggered alarms and fires in many places, but did not cause casualties.
