Data shows that in the first seven months of this year, Anhui Province exported 223.94 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, a year-on-year increase of 12%, accounting for 69.8% of the total export value. Electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and photovoltaic products, the "new three" products, exported a total of 27.34 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%. "It is worth noting that automobiles (including chassis) and spare parts totaled 67.99 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%, driving the province's exports by 4.6 percentage points." Wang Debao, director of the Statistics and Analysis Department of Hefei Customs, told reporters.
How did the automobile industry quickly become the leader in driving Anhui's export growth? In recent years, Anhui has aimed at building a strong province of new energy vehicles, insisted on leading the way, and promoted the leapfrog development of vehicle companies such as Chery, JAC, Weilai, and Volkswagen Anhui; carefully compiled the industrial chain map, extended the chain, supplemented the chain, and strengthened the chain. As of the end of June, there were more than 1,360 large-scale enterprises in Anhui's automobile manufacturing industry, a net increase of more than 80 over last year. The output of new energy vehicles reached 621,000 units, an increase of 81.4% year-on-year, and the national ranking jumped from fourth last year to second.
Data shows that in the first half of this year, Anhui exported 404,100 vehicles (including chassis), ranking first in the country in terms of quantity, up 26.4% year-on-year; the value was 40.27 billion yuan, up 32% year-on-year; the average export price was 100,000 yuan per vehicle, up 4.4% year-on-year. "So far, Chery Automobile has been exported to more than 80 countries and regions around the world. With the help of relevant preferential policies of the customs and efficient supervision services, the products can be quickly packaged and exported after they are produced. We are confident in further expanding overseas markets in the future." Feng Ping, head of international business of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., said.
In order to help Anhui-produced automobiles to go overseas faster, Hefei Customs, based on its functional advantages, on the one hand, tailors customs clearance plans for different export demands such as complete vehicles and spare parts with "one ticket, one policy", and assigns dedicated personnel to follow up on pre-shipment inspection, export declaration and release, and other links, and adds convenient measures such as "linked loading and unloading" and "direct loading and direct delivery" to achieve seamless connection of the various links of "front-end loading-in-transit transportation-loading and shipment"; on the other hand, relying on activities such as "Hechang 2024" and "Customs Director Delivers Policies to Doors", it provides guiding services such as planning for the best RCEP tariff benefits and intellectual property protection, to help companies improve their competitiveness in overseas markets.
Huang Ying, deputy director of Wuhu Customs under Hefei Customs, told reporters that they also vigorously carried out AEO credit cultivation certification, selected credit cultivation experts, and adopted on-site guidance, online answers, simulated certification and other methods to promote the transformation of cultivation results.
