Alexander DebenhamAlexander Debenham was born in Constable, England in 1983. This land with rich artistic traditions has deeply influenced his artistic path. He has shown a strong interest in painting since he was a child and began to create oil paintings. Although he worked in college and in the advertising industry, painting never left his life. Ten years later, he decided to devote himself to art creation and received professional artist training.

From 2013 to 2015, Alexander received rigorous art training at the Charles H. Cecil Studio in Florence, Italy. The studio is known for its classic sight-size technique, a century-old technique that emphasizes the precise capture of an object’s proportions and details through sketching and life drawing. This learning experience not only strengthened Alexander’s skills, but also helped him develop a unique style that combines classical techniques with modern subject matter.

Alexander works between London and Suffolk, specialising in custom portraits and still lifes. By applying classical painting techniques to modern subjects, he creates a body of work that is both traditionally charming and contemporary. His work demonstrates a deep understanding of traditional techniques, as well as an innovative ability to integrate them into the context of modern art.

Today, Alexander Debenham has become a well-known artist, and his works are collected by private collectors all over the world. This is not only a recognition of his artistic talent, but also an affirmation of his efforts to build a bridge between classical and modern art.

Alexander Debenham's artistic career shows his respect and inheritance of classical techniques, as well as his innovation and exploration in the field of modern art. Through his works, Alexander successfully integrates the classical and the modern, creating works of art that are both historically profound and full of the flavor of the times.
