Recently, the health-preserving method of "sunbathing the back" has attracted everyone's attention. We also issued a reminder: "Sunbathing the back" has its own rules and too much is as bad as too little.
For safety reasons, people should not just find random places to "sunbathe their backs". Recently, in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, a woman was lying on the road in the community to "sunbathe her back" and was hit by a passing car.
The picture shows the dashcam screen
When the police arrived at the scene, the injured woman had already been sent to the hospital. The driver, Ms. Min, recalled the scene of the incident and was still in shock. "I backed out of the parking space and saw her lying on the ground. I came over and the front of the car was in the blind spot, so I drove straight past her and didn't see her."
Ms. Min recalled the scene when the incident happened and was still in shock.
According to the dashcam, at that time, a woman was lying on the road with a yoga mat, fully "armed", and holding a parasol, leisurely "lying down to sunbathe" on the road, with no warning or shielding around her.
Ms. Min said that after she started the car and backed out of the parking space, she didn't see a person lying on the ground at all. It was not until someone outside the car called for help that she realized she had run over someone.
Car driver Ms. Min:It turned out that there was a person lying under my wheel. I was really scared. I said I had been driving for 20 years and it was the first time I encountered such a situation. Under the scorching sun, no one would have thought that there would be a person lying on the road. Later I realized that it was because she was lying on her stomach.
Fortunately, the vehicle had just started and it hit the calf. After diagnosis by the hospital, the injured woman, Yang, only had muscle injuries and her leg bones were not seriously injured.

The injured woman, Ms. Yang:Fortunately, I was lying there and she didn't see me when I came out. The tram was not noisy and I didn't hear it either. The wheels ran over my legs.
Yang told reporters that she saw the activity of sunbathing her back on the Internet. Because she often suffered from sore shoulders, she wanted to give it a try. The day of the incident was her seventh day of sunbathing her back.
The injured woman, Ms. Yang:It's quite comfortable to sunbathe my back, to be honest. I thought there were not many people downstairs. It's that time every day, and the cars going to work have all gone out. There were only three cars inside at that time, and I thought the cars would see me, because someone else's car saw me a few days ago. If it was a gasoline car, the noise would be very loud, and I would definitely hear it, but I was careless.
The police conducted an accident assessment. The driver, Ms. Min, was responsible for the accident due to negligence, and the injured woman, Ms. Yang, was secondarily responsible.。
Hui Jiahao, a police officer from Zhangjiagang Public Security Bureau:While driving a motor vehicle, Min failed to observe the traffic conditions on the road, which resulted in his failure to take measures when encountering the situation. He bears the primary responsibility for the accident; Yang was engaged in non-road activities on the community road and bears secondary responsibility for the accident.
Reminder to those who sunbathe: Not everyone is suitable for "sunbathing the back". There are also requirements for the time and duration of "sunbathing the back". You can't just find a random place to "sunbathe the back". Safety first!
