On August 17, the WeChat official account of University of Science and Technology Beijing published an article introducing that the undergraduate admissions work of University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2024 has been successfully concluded. The admission score ranking of science (physics) has continued to improve, and it has achieved the best ranking among national universities in recent years in 16 provinces. The lowest rank in 15 provinces has improved significantly compared with last year, and the highest rank in 14 provinces has reached a new high. The overall admission situation of liberal arts (history) has improved, and the average ranking among national universities is the best in recent years.

The school introduced that over the past year, under the strong leadership of the school party committee and with the strong support of various colleges and admissions publicity groups, more than 2,800 teachers and students participated in the admissions publicity work and conveyed the voice of Beijing University of Technology to the majority of candidates and their parents.

According to the news from China Agricultural University, the school will admit a total of 3,687 new undergraduate students from all over the country in 2024, covering seven major disciplines including agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, law, and literature.
