China News Service, Tianjin, August 17 (Reporter Zhou Yaqiang) The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Low-Altitude Economic Industry Alliance was unveiled at the Tianjin College of Beijing University of Science and Technology in Baodi District, Tianjin on the 17th, and the 2024 China University Student Aircraft Design Innovation Competition Central Division Trials were launched at the same time. On the same day, 33 low-altitude economic industry-related projects, including the construction of low-temperature battery production lines and supporting factories, and the overall planning of low-altitude public airway design in Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City, were officially signed in Baodi.

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Low-altitude Economic Industry Alliance was jointly established by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics, Baodi District and all parties in the low-altitude economic industry ecosystem, especially enterprises, universities and research institutes. It aims to further deepen the industrial linkage among the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, integrate forces, develop in groups, and jointly shape a low-altitude economic industry ecosystem with complementary advantages and deep integration. It is committed to building a source of low-altitude economic system and mechanism, a gathering place for talent innovation, and a transformation place for production, education, research and application in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and fully support the high-quality, sustainable and healthy development of the low-altitude economic industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
At the Low-altitude Economic Development Forum held on the same day, experts discussed the implementation plan for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy in Baodi District and the policy measures to support the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy in Baodi District. As the frontier of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Baodi District has the conditions and foundation to "take the opportunity to fly first" in the field of low-altitude economy. It has built three training bases and airspaces such as the Beijing-Tianjin New City UAV Base, and has gathered a number of low-altitude aircraft R&D and manufacturing, service support, low-altitude economic applications and other related enterprises. At present, the University of Science and Technology Beijing is carrying out the verification test flight of the national-level project bionic flapping-wing aircraft in Baodi District to promote the rapid development of the low-altitude economic industry in Baodi District.

In the next step, Baodi District will build a "one core and two bases" low-altitude economic demonstration zone with Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City as the core, Zhouliang Street (Beijing-Tianjin New Town) and Bamen Town as the bases, and build a low-altitude economic development pattern with systematic promotion, diversified participation, and characteristic drive. By 2027, two large-scale low-altitude comprehensive test sites and several take-off and landing points that meet the needs of low-altitude flight aircraft routes will be built, a number of demonstration application scenarios will be created, and no less than 100 enterprises related to the upstream, midstream and downstream industrial chains of the low-altitude economy will be attracted to build a low-altitude economic development highland with important influence in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
