The 2024 Liaoning Province New Employment Form Competition was held in Yingkou from August 13 to 14. The competition focused on the new employment field that has attracted much attention in the current social development. It aims to improve the professional skills of relevant practitioners through competition and promote the healthy and orderly development of new employment forms.
The competition is co-organized by the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the Liaoning Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and co-sponsored by the Yingkou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Yingkou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Bayuquan District Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Bayuquan District People's Government.
This competition has two events: online delivery workers and truck drivers, covering representative occupational categories in the new employment form. After selection by each city, 60 contestants from 12 cities across Liaoning Province finally participated in the finals.
The competition for online delivery drivers includes order pickup and delivery, driving skills, exception handling and other items, focusing on testing the contestants' abilities in tool testing, online delivery safety driving, delivery item inspection and service evaluation. The competition for truck drivers includes items such as unhooking and loading, reversing and moving, and slalom, focusing on the contestants' comprehensive abilities such as on-board safety inspection, competition-related technical requirements and completion time.
According to reports, this competition is a vivid practice of the series of activities of the Liaoning Federation of Trade Unions "Learn Thoughts, Be Pioneers, and Make New Contributions", which fully exerts the positive role of trade unions in making new breakthroughs in comprehensive revitalization.
